This is a replacement Prefix WARMroof – a lightweight, tiled roof conversion that can turn an existing conservatory into an all-year-round room, retaining warmth in the winter, and reducing the heat that traditional glass roofs generate in the summer.
This installation in Oakley, took place in Autumn 2025 and has made the 4.5 x 5m area much more of a usable space for the family.
We contracted Ripton to replace our very tired glass conservatory roof (a conservatory that it turned out Ripton fitted some 15+ years back for a previous owner) with a tiled Prefix WARMroof, and we honestly couldn't be happier.
While we need to wait a while before we can decorate and fully finish the project, the roof is really good. Our conservatory is now much quicker to heat up and it retains heat virtually like a "normal" room in the house now too, making it a room we are going to be able to use all year round (once the AC is installed too). Excellent service from start to finish. We would happily have Ripton work on our property again in the future.
