Ever wondered about having a different look for your replacement windows and doors? Have you considered a shaped door?
When we think of windows and doors, we always think of rectangular or square shaped units. However, installing a shaped unit into your house can be a fantastic way of making your house stand out. Curved or round units can frame the view from your house in a different and unique way. Windows and doors can be created with an arched top, or can be completely rounded for a distinctive look that can add an element of drama to your house.
Sometimes we can feel restricted by the dimensions of our window openings, particularly with older houses which can have some uniquely shaped windows and doors. Think you can’t have UPVC windows installed because you have shaped window openings? Think again! One of our fitters recently fitted this shaped door and window, which demonstrate how beautiful a shaped frame can look. The new PVC window and PVC door mould seamlessly with the grey brickwork surround, and the decorative glass in the window makes for a pretty amazing finish.
