It is imperative that when commerce starts to resume we are prepared. We have been working behind the scenes implementing a range of processes to ensure the safety of our teams and our customers.

Hopefully this will happen soon, but rest assured, we are ready to pick up when we are given the go-ahead.

Following the UK Government announcement on the 23rd March, we have had to close our doors for a short period of time to fight the COVID-19 virus and to protect our staff, customers and the wider community.

Ripton Windows has been in business since 1996 and are a financially sound local family business owned and run in Basingstoke. While this decision to close will be difficult and no doubt painful, people’s health and wellbeing are the most important considerations at this challenging time for all of us.

We are following the Government’s advice and hope that after three weeks of shut down, the country, as well as Ripton Windows, will be able to return to work. However, as this is a fast-moving event, we really cannot guarantee that this would happen.

So it seems only right to let you know how we expect to manage this event once we can re-open.

Firstly, all part-finished installations will be the priority once restrictions are lifted. This will be followed by all booked work that we have cancelled at short notice.

Orders placed before the 23rd March that are being processed and manufactured will now have a longer lead-time for delivery and installation, and we will endeavour to keep you informed as to when you can expect these products as quickly as we can.
Keep an eye on this page as we shall update this when we have some more information regarding re-opening.

We are fully aware of the concern customers in our system may be feeling right now about their own health and that of loved ones. You may also be concerned about any monies you have paid up to this point.

As members of the Glass and Glazing Federation, the industry’s largest governing body, I can tell you that all deposits – no matter how they were paid – are protected under the deposit protection scheme. See for further information.
